Registration opens for 2013 European Masters
For the ninth time the European Handball Federation organises the European Masters Handball Championship for men and women.
The event will take place from 14 to 16 June 2013 in Bressanone (Brixen), Italy, where up to four indoor halls - depending on the number of participants - will be available.
Federations interested in participating are now able to register their teams with the EHF, with the registration deadline being 8 April 2013.
The age categories are as follows
- Men 35+ (born before 31 December 1978)
- Men 45+ (born before 31 December 1968)
- Men 50+ (born before 31 December 1963)
- Women 33+ (born before 31 December 1980)
- Women 43+ (born before 31 December 1970)
No extraordinary playing permission will be issued. There will be a maximum of 16 teams per category with entries being accepted on a 'first come, first served' basis.
A dedicated website for the event, set up by the local organising committee, with detailed information on e.g. accomodation and transfer possibilities will be available by the end January 2013.
