Women’s qualification tournament in France

The French capital will play host to the additional – Wild Card – Qualification Tournament for a place in the WOMEN’S EHF Champions League, the European Handball Federation has announced.

Taking part in the Round-Robin tournament are Issy Paris Handball (FRA), Zvezda (RUS) and HC Leipzig (GER).

The three team event will take place on Friday 21, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 September 2012.

The order of the matches is as follows:

Friday, 21 September:     Leipzig - Issy
Saturday, 22 September: Zvenigorod - Leipzig
Sunday, 23 September:   Issy - Zvenigorod

The winner will join Group D in the Group Matches, playing defending champions, Buducnost (MNE) and Thüringer HC (GER) as well as the winner of the Qualification Tournament 1.
